Husqvarna AB is a world-leading manufacturer of forestry, park and garden products, as well as of power cutters for the building and construction industry.
Founded in 1689, Husqvarna has a very extensive product range with everything from professional machines to products for demanding consumers. The head office is located in Huskvarna, Sweden, where approximately 1,800 of a total of 2,200 employees work in the areas of high-technology research, product development, production and marketing.

Most of the production takes place in Sweden and some products are purchased from sister companies within the Group. The Swedish factories are located in Brastad, Huskvarna, Ödeshög and Tandsbyn. Ninety-five per cent of the products are exported to some hundred countries and sales total approximately five billion Swedish Crowns.
